New Pixel 4a 5G, and cannot log in to the Health Mate app. Username and password are correct, it accepts them, says "Your app will be ready in a few minutes", and then says there was a connectivity issue. I've downloaded the latest version from the Play store, uninstalled, re-installed, cleared app cache and deleted data, and confirm that I can log into the web version from the phone browser with no problem. Searching I can see many threads on Reddit about this problem going back years and it seems it has never been solved - just lots of frustrated people.
Anyone have a solution?

Thank you for posting. We have released Health Mate 5.6 today. Once it’s available on your Play Store, could you please download it? Once you have done so, you should be able to connect to your Health Mate account again.
