Hi there, I am a regular user of your scales and recently started measuring my vascular age. I am 52 and this morning to my amazement, the measurement indicated that my age today is between 58 and 62. Until about 4 years ago and all my life I have done a lot of sports (mostly martial arts) to the tune of 6 to 10 hours per week every week. A few weeks ago, I underwent a series of tests relative to my heart following chest pains after having been vaccinated with Moderna (Covid 19). These tests revealed that my heart is in excellent condition but I did stop practicing any sports for 6 weeks. I started again a month ago, mostly jogging and mountain biking. I have noticed that when I do not practice any sport for a few days, the range goes back to between 50 and 54 yo, which is already dubiously high for a person in my physical condition. I have also noticed that systematically, after I practice sports, my vascular age goes up when measured the following morning.
Is that realistic? If so, why?
Many thanks for your feedback and best regards,
