    Same here on iPhone XS Max, IOS 14.7. Started today, since the last Health Mate update (5.6.0). Also... I've seen that there is a "Loading..." message above the Latest Measurements in the left upper corner all the time... not sure if this is related, but don't remember that before this last update...

    Same issue here, on a second device still running 5.5.1, no issues, on same device after updating to 5.6.0, same issue occurs, app spontaneously closes after about 3-4 seconds.

    This class of issue has occurred a few times before in the last year or 2.

    The data from my devices is not being uploaded as it goes via my IOS phone so this renders all the Withings devices less than useful

    If I go via https://within.gs/help I'll just end up here. And why are you wondering when the crash happened. It says in the details: "It crashes right when I start the app"

    Same here. Just received new Withings device, expecting setup and use, but Health Mate app crashes on startup.

    @johan.thureson: If you click on https://within.gs/help, you should be sent to a page where you are asked either to log in with your Health Mate account or to connect with a Guest mode. Is it not the case for you? Also, please know that we asked these different pieces of information to make sure that everyone commenting is in the same situation. Thank you very much for creating this post, this has been very helpful for us since we are now currently working on an update.

    Hi All,

    Just realized that if you turn the airplane mode on, you will be able to use your device, in my case BPM. Not sure if you will have your data up to date in the cloud, but at least you will be able to use your device.

    This workaround does not help with first time setup of the BPM Connect as the setup workflow requires it connect to the internet (presumably through the app) to update firmware. Still non-functional.

    When can we expect a fix in the AppStore? I am quite surprised that Withings has not rolled back the offending update that is causing this issue.

    The app crashes on Android too. 5.6.1 was released and it didn't help anything. It doesn't crash right away, it seems to hang my phone and eventually Android asks if I want to close the app. My data has not been synced the last 12 days.

    Is Withings working on a fix for Android as well?

    Actually and surprisingly it worked normally this morning, opened the app expecting  it to spontaneously close after 3-4 seconds but it didn't and was able to successfully get my blood pressure reading. Then I left the app to do something else and when I got back into the app, it did the recently usual automatically close after 3-4 seconds.

    Do we have an update on the App Fix yet? I’m unable to take vital BP readings? Can this version be rolled back if not fixed immediately? Some insight on expected delivery if fix would be much appreciated. Thank you.

    I want to apologize again that you have not been able to open the Health Mate with the recent version. We have released a new version, 5.6.1, that should fix this. Please update the app in the App Store and do not hesitate to let me know if you are able to open Health Mate after doing so.
