Scale in use for a few years won't Set Up

    And this looks to be a not very useful way to get support, either....?

    Fixed it. No thanks to Withings 'support'. 

    Deleted all the records on my iPhone - including the BT and WIFI links and reset as if new. Worked OK this morning to record weight. But need to build up sequence of results.

    So did you delete the iOS app too? The historical data is in the cloud, so NBD about losing that off the phone. I did try deleting the BT connection and resetting the scale to factory, but after re-setting it up it still doesn't sync data to the cloud. I did not, however, try deleting the app and all its data off my phone completely.

    No. I just shut the app down. I've just taken another look at it and it's now synchronised and there appears to be past data held - so you are right about the Cloud I guess. 

    I store my fitness routines in several different apps and am a Bit ODCD about not having info missing. The real issue i had was in not being able to speak to anyone at Withings to find out what to try when the scales just sat there 'stuck' in the routine of connecting. I'm reasonably experienced with technology so used initiative before looking for help - but once I needed it and found how difficult it is (Impossible, in my case!) to get a phone number  for someone to assist me I started to see red. Bad enough at the moment getting companies to answer phones "it's because of Covid..." and similar *******, but no working phone number at all?! Even hidden behind a discreet 'contact us' at the bottom of their webpage. Disgraceful.
