You had better fix all the bugs in the software before you release this half baked product in the USA Armelle. I'm sure the Americans won't be as tolerant of the mass of annoying software bugs that you still haven't fixed after a whole year!

can't seem to add this to the cart, despite all the marketing indicating it's now available to purchase in the US.

What's up?  Is it truly out of stock already?

    Hi Armelle

I see the ECG feature needs to be activated in the USA. If I buy the watch in the USA but use it in Australia where the feature is already available, will the ECG work out of the box? Is the function lock based on location as per app or is it something in the firmware?

Why are the metal and leather bands not acceptable to wear during a workout?

I want the Rose Gold/Bleu or, if you all having considered it, a Rose Gold/Red watch face. I've already got a Steel HR with a white watch face...I don't need two nearly identical watches.

    Hello everyone,

Thank you very much for all your questions and your interest in ScanWatch. I’ll be happy to reply to all of you.

@jdfitzctb: Could you please tell me which additional options you are referring to?

@freitasm: ScanWatch US will have all the features available in Europe, except for the notification option in case of Afib. Also, the process to record an ECG is different in the US. You can check the tutorial here and if interested, don’t hesitate to also check the other articles we provided in our post above.

@maunormodi: For now, it is not planned but I’ve forwarded your request to our team.

@catchitall: Our ScanWatch is in stock. Could you perhaps try with a different device or browser? You can also try using a private window. Don’t hesitate to let me know if it works for you or not!

@freitasm: If you buy ScanWatch from the USA, you will have all the features available over there. This means that you will need to follow this tutorial here in order to do an ECG.

@rachel.ayers: We advise our customers not to use those wristbands during a workout as they might not be comfortable during a training session. The metal wristbands are made from several links while the leather wristbands can be affected by sweat. Also, optical measurements such as the heart rate and the SpO2 tracking might be less accurate with a non-elastic wristband since they are less adjustable.

@kenshin.manabu: Thanks for your interest in Rose Gold ScanWatch. Please know that this model should be available in the US in early 2022. If you’re interested, ScanWatch Horizon will be available in the US shortly thereafter.

    Have a great day everyone!

Thanks @Armelle - what happens if I buy in the USA but use in another country with an account registered in another country? Does the device still have these restrictions?

I agree with this (re: @freitasm.)  Bought a from the US site, expect to get UK options.

My acct is setup as a US acct, but that shouldn't matter.

How do I make sure I can set it up with UK permissions/region/whatever it's called?

A bit different. In my case, I can buy in the USA but I don't live in the USA and I have a non-USA account. Would ScanWatch (or Horizon for that matter) have all features, without the need to go through that process?

    Hello @freitasm and @catchitall,

Thanks for the questions. The features you can have access to don’t depend on your Health Mate account or on your localization but on the country where you bought ScanWatch. If you buy the US version of ScanWatch, you will have the features that are available in the USA. You will also need to follow this tutorial here if you want to do an ECG.

I hope I was able to answer your questions.

    Happy Monday,

If I live in the USA but own a Scanwatch bought in Japan a year ago, is there a way I can unlock all the features available in the US via a remotely forced firmware update or something (since the physical hardware is the same across all regions, this should be an option)?
