Astronomical step count

My Steel HR Sport woke me up in the middle of the night last night vibrating that I had reached my 10,000 step daily goal. When I looked at the step count on the watch it read a little over 207,000....on the app on my phone the step count is accurate, but on the watch it still says I have over 207,700 steps and have burned 7,540 calories. Is there a way to reset these without having to factory reset the watch?

    I have exactly the same problem this morning. Walked about 15.000 steps yesterday, but only received the notification on the watch when I woke up today. The step count in the app has reset, but the watch reads 396262 steps and more than 277 km. What to do?

    UPDATE: a reset fixed the step count, but the activity dial was stuck at 60% as a starting/ending point instead of 0/100%, so I had to recalibrate the hands. The watch has been behaving well since. I've had this watch about 3 years now and seem to remember having this once before, but at the start of the summer time (DST).

    I’ve had the same issue. Woke up with 497,661 steps having apparently walked 385km in my sleep.

    I have had similar issues and have stopped using the watch for a while. Higher step count or much lower. But overall it fails to measure steps most of the time. Have you guys managed to resolved the issues?
    I have done resets several times  to avail and have kind of given up on the watch.

    TBH it has only happened to me the one time, and when it reset at midnight it's been good ever since. Fingers crossed...

    Yeah no mine has been constantly miss calculating step count (usually under counts) etc and then I had on top weird stuff like yours.
