Samsung steps count very wrong

    I think maybe the phone and the watch are both recording steps, and healthmate is adding them together. There's an "All steps" option in Samsung Health that says:

    "When All Steps is selected, both your phone and any connected Galaxy Watch will show the cumulative total. Connected bands will only show steps counted on the band. When you're using a watch or band along with your phone, steps are still counted accurately. There's no double-counting"

    So Samsung health has figured out how to not double count from both phone + watch. I guess we need healthmate to do the same?

    I reached out to support for this one, and they are aware of it. No choice but to leave steps integration disabled for the moment. Fingers crossed for a fix.

    Steps was working just fine for me for months. Suddenly went nuts a few weeks ago and it's been a frustrating month. No answer from withings on even an approximate timeframe. What kind of customer service is that?

    Same problem here - This seems to have been going on for weeks for me though, possibly even the last couple of months
