Transfer App Data from one phone to another?

Android user here. I just got a new phone. Unfortunately for a few months now my Health Mate Data is not syncing to the Withings servers so it can't be seen on the online dashboards. I thought I saw a bit about enabling location to transfer data between Health Mate apps, but I can't figure out how to in the app. Is this possible? I have to send in my old phone as its now a trade in and I don't want to lose the step data.
