The same happened with my wife's watch.
It looks like the battery increased its size and popped the back up.
    How to proceed now?
Watch are also full of moistrue... because of the gap, the sweat get inside.

E' accaduta la stessa cosa col mio scanwatch. Il mio orologio non è mai caduto, tenuto sempre in modo prefetto e mai messo sotto l'acqua. Oggi ho riscontrato uno scostamento della schiena posteriore. Cosa devo fare?

Same thing just happened to my scanwatch today: I noticed it wasn't charging properly and when I lifted it off the charger the back just popped off.

Anyone hear anything from Withings on this? I see that there is supposed to be a 2-year warranty which should cover it...

    UPDATE

I had a replacement sent to me by Withings. I am following up to know what exactly was the issue, hoping it won't happen again.

Same issue here. I just wrote Withings Customer Service (opened a ticket) and after some dialoque and pictures of the watch, I am now waiting for a replacement. So do not ask for help here, contact Withings Customer Service instead.

This issue might be that the battery under certain, maybe warm/hot conditions, may expand and thus press on the back/sensor cover.
