My BPM Connect appears to be reading my BP correctly but I am concerned about the noise it makes while taking a reading. The pump starts off sounding loud for a couple of seconds and then goes quiet, the note changes and it sounds as though the motor is struggling or the battery charge is low (it's not). Is this correct?

    It is normal that your BPM Connect makes some noise. If you are concerned, don't hesitate to send us a video of your device taking a measurement at http://within.gs/help.

    I don't know for sure but mine is exactly the same. I assumed it was because when the band's internal pressure gets higher the pump has to engage some kind of different gear.
    If you start it off very loose, the first noise will last much longer, if you start it quite tight then the first noise will be quite short.
