Same, then I reset it, and now it says issue when downloading your scale's update. It seems like a major bug. I have tried all the suggestions here, nothing works. I have a very expensive brick now. Hope someone sorts this out.

Interestingly enough I managed to fix it for us in the last 15 minutes, maybe this helps you as well:

Might only work if you have a Google email:

    1) deinstall Health Mate

    2) restart your device

    3) reinstall Health Mate

    4) log in to your account; for us it only works with Google because the account system with passwords does not work anymore at all

    5) reactivate syncing

    6) make a new measurement on your scale

    7) go to Health Mate, pull down and force an update; you should get a new reading

    8) if that works you can go to Apple Health and wait for it to sync, which it should do now

However? my honest opinion is that their account system is completely bugged.

After hours I could finally manage to do it. After resetting and trying to pair a few times, I decided to log off and log back in on the app, based on your solution. Many thanks! I had tried the same earlier but this time it loaded my user information again and it worked. It seems there is no clear method to make it work. It is very much random indeed!

Ran into the same thing myself over the last 16 hours.
Apple Health not getting weight measurement updated from the Health Mate app,
The "login with email not working" is a big problem with the system, I could register an account and set a mobile phone for 2-factor-authentication but then logging in, giving the code from my email, then entering the code from my phone text message fails "There was a problem - try again later"

I used the "Connect with Apple" method to login, then after resetting the scale I added it again. Finally (in the last 15 minutes) it progressed past the "Issue downloading your scale's update" error and registered.

Slick and shiny product, seems to be having big app problems at the website/software "back end"
    Disappointing!

I will never purchase another Withings product. I have never experienced so many ongoing issues that have wasted many hours of my time especially since all that wasted time did nothing to correct all the issues. It’s time to toss this into the trash and never give this company another dollar

Here's my fix, while we all hope Withings will fix this issue on their end. Don't throw your scale away just now, it's a software problem:

    1. log out of your Health Mate app right now
    2. log back into Health Mate
    3. under notifications you will see a red dot, an info to sync Apple Health, activate that
    4. after doing that, make sure you have Apple Health and Health Mate both open on your phone
    5. now go to Health Mate and force an update by dragging down with your finger on the screen; make sure to pull far enough and hold long enough for the dial to start properly turning
    6. that will take a while, but it will sync all your progress that wasn't synced in the meantime

You don't need to do that every day. Just every once in a while, when you want all your data transferred.

It's a hassle, I know! However, throwing away your scale is not the solution.

    Hey there, Georgmir,

I completely understand your frustration. It's maddening when technology that's supposed to simplify our lives suddenly goes haywire. I've had a similar ordeal, and it's disheartening to see such synchronization glitches.

First off, I'd recommend checking if both your Health Mate and Apple Health apps are updated to their latest versions. Sometimes, updates can resolve compatibility issues.

Another tip I've found useful is to ensure that you've granted the necessary permissions for data sharing between the two apps. Double-check your settings to make sure nothing's blocking the transfer.

If that doesn't work, try disconnecting your Withings device entirely, uninstalling and then reinstalling the Health Mate app. Sometimes a fresh start can do wonders. Also, make sure your Withings account is properly linked to Apple Health. I was able to verify this by following these instructions https://andersenlab.com/industries/software-for-life-science-andersen/software-for-medical-devices-andersen

Lastly, it might be worthwhile to reach out to Withings' customer support (I'm referring specifically to the customer service, not the forum post). Sometimes, these issues require a more personalized solution from the manufacturer.

I hope this helps you and your partner get those vital syncs back on track. Don't lose hope; these quirks can often be resolved with a bit of patience and persistence.
