I raised a support case for this and they said they know about it and it'll be addressed in the next update. No idea when that is however.

I am having the same problem, "missing permissions" have uninstalled, checked permissions and still doesn't work. TBH I've never gotten the steps to sync even after emailing withings. Such a dissap...
