Our support agents may ask you for the serial number (also referred to as the MAC ID) of your Withings product. This 12-character number allows them to retrieve diagnostics and usage data for your product.
The serial number of your device starts with '0024' or 'a4:7e' and contains numbers and letters throughout. Depending on where you find the serial number, it can look like '0024E4XXXXXX / a47eXXXXXXXX' or '00:24:E4:XX:XX:XX / a4:7e:XX:XX:XX:XX.'
If your device is already installed, you can find the serial number in the Withings App by going to Devices, selecting your product, and then scrolling down to the About section.

Note for ScanWatch, Steel HR and Pulse HR users: You can obtain the serial number of your device from within the device's menus by pressing the holding its button for 5 to 6 seconds. Then, press the button to cycle through the available menus until you come to the serial number. The serial number looks like 'XX:XX:XX' and does not include the prefix '00:24:E4.'
