We recommend setting up the scale in Wi-Fi for a better experience. To install it in Wi-Fi, please read our article about updating the Body + communication mode.
If you've set up your scale in Wi-Fi:
- Look into the Devices tab in the app if your Body+ is displayed. If it's not, you will need to install it.
- Check if unassigned measurements appear in the Withings app.
- Check the battery level of your scale in Devices. If the battery level is low, please try changing the battery to see if it solves the issue.
Important: Connectivity can be impacted if the battery level is too low. - Make sure your scale is close enough to your Wi-Fi router. If you're not sure it is, try to move it within 10 ft (3m) of your router if possible to test if that fixes the issue.
- Make sure that your Wi-Fi is working properly.
- Try rebooting your router if necessary.
Note: If you changed your router or Wi-Fi provider, make sure to update your scale connectivity in the Withings App by going to Devices > Body + > Update Wi-Fi Configuration.
If you've set up your scale in Bluetooth:
- Make sure the mobile device you have used to set up the scale (the one paired to the scale) is close enough to the Body +.
- Get closer to the scale with the Withings App open.
- Check if unassigned measurements appear in the Withings app.
- Check the battery level of your scale in Devices. If the battery level is low, please try changing the battery to see if it solves the issue.
Important: Connectivity can be impacted if the battery level is too low. - Make sure the software of your scale is up-to-date.
