With the release of Firmware 2891, we've made enhancements to our internal measurement algorithm to ensure that your measurements are the most accurate and consistent. 

Due to the improvement of the accuracy and efficiency of our measurement algorithm, Body Scan will require that you closely follow our recommendations for successful measurements. Please see our dedicated article on how to take the best measurements here. 

Body Composition (BIA)

• We have developed a new algorithm for the detection of skin-to-skin contact, which has been trained on millions of measurements to provide the most accurate results.
• A new error screen has been added if a skin-to-skin error is detected.

Pulse Wave Velocity (PVW) & Vascular Age (VA)

• More accurate and conclusive measurements due to the new measurement method introduced in this update.
• A new error screen has been added for inconclusive measurements.
