We recommend that U-Scan measurements be taken during the measurement windows chosen in your Measurement Plan, but you always have the option to manually launch a measurement at any time.
Important: By launching a measurement, you will cancel the next measurement window scheduled on the same day. The schedule will resume as normal after the next measurement window is skipped.
Manually launching a measurement
Make sure you review our tips for optimal measurements before launching a measurement.
To manually launch a measurement, follow these steps:
- Open the Withings App.
- Tap the "+" symbol in upper right corner and then Launch U-Scan Measurement.
Alternately, go to Devices > U-Scan > Launch Measurement. - The next screen will notify you that you will have 2 minutes to collect a urine sample.
- The status light will start slowly blinking green while waiting for the sample and then blink green for 20 seconds while it is performing the measurement.
- Once you stop urinating, the status light will pulse orange while your sample is analyzed. - Results will be available in 30 minutes from the time of collection.
Can I launch a measurement with an inactive subscription?
Yes, as long as your Cartridge is not expired. Please see our dedicated article on understanding how Cartridge subscription renewal works.
