Your scale may encounter a number of in-app error messages when configuring for Wi-Fi. Here is a series of helpful troubleshooting tips for you to ensure you can resolve common issues.
I can’t see my Wi-Fi network in the list
If you can't see your Wi-Fi network on the list, follow these guidelines and attempt to search again:
- Try to get your device closer to your router. Then, refresh the list of Wi-Fi networks.
- Make sure you are not using a 5 GHz or 6GHz Wi-Fi, since these bands are not supported by your device. Only 2.4GHz is supported.
- If you have a dual band router (which is able to connect to both 5 GHz and 2.4 Ghz bands), make sure that you connect the scale to the 2.4 GHz band. This can be changed from the control panel of your router.
- Make sure your Wi-Fi network is not secured by WPA3 that is not supported by your device.
- Make sure that your Wi-Fi network is not configured to use ONLY the norm Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) that is not supported by your device.
- Make sure that your Wi-Fi network is not hidden.
