Below are the various statuses of the U-Scan's LED status light as well as how the LED changes when pressing the U-Scan's button.
During installation
| Status light color | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Blue pulsing | Bluetooth pairing/Waiting for app installation. Times out after 5 minutes. |
| Blue rapid blinking | The device is updating the firmware. |
| Blue solid | The device is in the middle of the installation. |
| Red solid | Installation failure, typically due to not being able to connect to Wi-Fi. See our dedicated article for how to deal with installation issues. |
| Green solid | Installation was successful. |
During manual measurement
| Status light color | Meaning |

| Green pulsing | The device is waiting for sample collection for urinalysis. Times out after 2 minutes. |
| Green solid | An ideal amount of sample was collected for urinalysis. Times out after 20 seconds. |
| Yellow rapid blinking | The device is syncing its data. |
| Red solid | Indicates that not enough sample was collected for urinalysis. |
While charging

| Orange solid | The device is charging. |
| Green solid | The battery is fully charged. |
