Top/Front View

Cover - Protects the U-Scan reader's body and requires proper closure to ensure a watertight seal.

Cartridge - A sophisticated container for urinalysis measurement tests.
See our dedicated article on how to install and replace a cartridge. - Main button - Controls the powering on and off of the device as well as the Bluetooth connectivity functions.
- USB-C port - An internal charging port that can be used as a backup option for charging with the Station.
- Closing pin - A small button that registers the closure of the cover.

Toilet clip - A detachable clip that attaches to your toilet to suspend the U-Scan inside.

- Purge point - A small outlet that allows any fluid from the device to exit the device after every measurement, during its daily purging cycle, and during deep cleaning processes. See our dedicated article on cleaning for more info.
- Sample collection point - A small inlet with a fine mesh that collects your urine sample to be analyzed. The app will alert you if the collection point becomes obstructed. When the collection point is obstructed for any reason, it can lead to measurement failure.
