Withings has partnered with StethoMe to power the lung analysis component of StethO Sense: the sound analysis feature available in the Withings app for BeamO users.

StethoMe specializes in pulmonary sound analysis. It examines the lung sounds captured by your BeamO's stethoscope and provides feedback on your breathing. StethoMe has been validated with 93% accuracy on lung sound classifications.

Results by region

StethoMe results differ depending on your region, due to regulatory requirements:

• EU, EEA, Switzerland, UK (medical device - CE Class IIa): Results include four individual lung sound phenomenon scores (Wheezes, Fine Crackles, Coarse Crackles, Rhonchi), each scored from 0–100. See this article for full details.
