Unlike the factory reset process, soft resetting your U-Scan will not delete any unsynced data stored on the device.

To perform a soft reset for U-Scan, follow these steps:

1. Open U-Scan by holding it between your two palms with the smooth side facing up, and pressing and rotating the cover in a counterclockwise direction with your upper palm.
   
2. Press and hold the button for about 20 seconds.
   The status light should show 10 green flashes, followed by 10 red flashes.
3. The status light will turn green for a few seconds to confirm that the device has been reset.
