    Harry,

Support had me do the following things and my scale is working again. I don’t know if it was these steps (I hadn’t unpaired the scale before) or if it was the new update they just released to the app a couple of days ago that made the difference, but I finally got it working this morning. Hopefully something here will be helpful for your case too.

    From support:

“To isolate this issue further, could you please uninstall your Health Mate app, reboot your phone then reinstall the app? Additionally, to ensure that we follow the correct and necessary steps, please see the guidelines below:

To reset the scale to factory settings:

    • Please go to the Bluetooth settings of your mobile device and locate the Body scale which may show up as Body XX. Select the gear or 'i' icon to the right of it, depending on your mobile device, and you will have the option to 'forget' or remove the scale.
    • Hold the button on the bottom of the scale for 8 seconds and then release it
    • A menu will appear with an arrow and three options: mac, upgrade, reset
    • Tap the button on the bottom of the scale until the arrow is on 'reset'
    • The scale will now reset and will be ready to be configured”

(Then I went into the app and followed the prompts for re-adding the device.)

    Good luck!

The other thing that worked for me without having to uninstall the app was to turn off the WiFi on my phone. With the WiFi off I was able to pair with Bluetooth, then turn WiFi back on and complete setup.

I did this after resetting the scale and “forgetting” the scale in the app and my Bluetooth settings, but it might be worth trying before all that to potentially save steps.

I finally connected after experiencing all the same issues. My problem was 2.4g WiFi. Changed the network and OK now.

Hi. I recently had this problem also. Going to Bluetooth settings on my iPhone, choosing forgetting this device, and then re-pairing solved the problem.
