    Hello all,

Thanks for sharing your feedback regarding the notification issue.

We are happy to say that with Health Mate 5.2 the issue has been resolved. Please update your app and then log out and then back into your account and make sure that the Notifications option is enabled in the Health Mate app.

As always, please open a ticket with our Support if you are not able to fix the issue with the update.

    Happy posting,

    Chris

I am finding notifications do not work at all half the time. I have been able to receive some third party notifications on iOS though. Have you got the latest version of Health Mate?

I have, everything is up to date. I do have the iOS 14 beta version, not sure if that plays a role in this issue

Whatsapp and Messenger are not working. Apps are open, no result. Scanwatch deleted from the app and bluetooth, new install and again no results with whatsapp and Messenger. (IOS 13.7). I hope it is software and we get soon an update.

I have the latest version on the phone.

I had the same issue on iOS 14. Fixed it that way :

    - Delete Health Mate after sync

    - Reinstall Health Mate

    Works as expected now

This actually worked! I did all the troubleshooting that was mentioned on the Withings app but didn't cross my mind to delete and reinstall the Health Mate App!

    Thanks remi.merenda!

You're welcome. I think the app has to obtain new authorizations after a major update (from iOS 13 to 14 in my case).

This also worked for me, but I also had to restart my iPhone after removing and reinstalling Health Mate.

    I'm now receiving GMail notifications.

It did't worked for me, but I have also the Thermo app, so I did the next thing.

I unlocked the themo, unlocked the watch, deleted both apps from my iPhone and iPad. Killed the  bluetooth on my iPhone (thermo and watch), restarted the watch and my iPhone. Next thing was an install only for the watch, restart the iPhone.  Whatsapp and Messenger are still not working. (apps open and also the Health Mate app, also iPhone not in sleeping mode). So it was't the solution I think.

    Other options?

I did get a response from Withings when I sent them the email. It didn't help me since most of the content were repetitive from their Withings Support page. I'll share in case this helps someone:

    Hello,

Thank you for reaching out to us. I'm sorry to hear that you're not receiving third party notifications from your ScanWatch. Let me help you with this.

I appreciate you for providing the additional information as well as your efforts in doing the necessary troubleshooting steps and I apologize if the same issue persists.

For us to isolate this, may I know if which mobile device and mobile OS are you using (e.g. iPhone 8 with iOS 11.2)?

I understand that you might have done this before reaching out to us, however, to ensure that the necessary troubleshooting steps were followed, could you please ensure that notifications are enabled in the Health Mate app? To do this, place your watch next to your mobile device, open the Health Mate app, and then go to My Devices->ScanWatch->Notifications and ensure the notifications are enabled for the desired app(s).

Once you have done this, ensure that notifications are enabled directly on your ScanWatch. To enable or disable notifications, press the button on your watch and cycle through the screens until you reach the Notifications screen (it has a bell icon). Press and hold the button to turn notifications on or off.

    • You must enable text message notifications in the settings of your device in order to receive them on the ScanWatch. To do this on your iOS device, go to Settings->Notifications->Messages and enabling 'Allow Notifications'.
    • For users of iOS 11 or earlier - Ensure 'Show in History' is selected for any notification you would like to receive. To do this go to iOS Settings->Notifications->Select the app for which you would like to receive messages, and enable 'Show in History.' If this is not enabled, you will not receive notifications on your ScanWatch.
    • For users of iOS 12 or later - Ensure that the box for 'Notification Center' is selected under 'Alerts' for any notification the customer wishes to receive. To do this go to iOS Settings->Notifications->Select the app for which you would like to receive messages, and select the box for 'Notification Center' so that a blue checkmark is shown underneath the option.
    • For users of iOS 13 - Ensure that the 'Show Previews' option is set to either 'Always' or 'When Unlocked' for any notification you would like to receive. To do this go to iOS Settings->Notifications->Select the app for which you would like to receive messages, and under 'Show Previews' select 'Always' or 'When Unlocked.' If this is not enabled, you will not receive notifications.
    • Ensure that Do Not Disturb mode is not currently enabled on your device. You can disable it by going to iOS Settings, tapping on 'Do not Disturb,' and turning it off

    • If notifications were enabled, but you are not receiving notifications after checking the above, please turn off all notifications and re-enable them

Please ensure that Bluetooth is enabled on your mobile device as this is required in order to receive notifications.

I can confirm reinstalling the app helped to receive third party notifications. ❤️

I have tried all the above, but no effort. Notifications do work on my Apple Watch, which requires the same sort of settings for third party notifications. Restarted iPhone, reinstalled the app, have done the watch reset...all no result.
So, don't have a clue, what it could be.
    Phonecall notification works fine.

    Any one to help?

New watch since Saturday, it never worked.
Iphone 12pro, including the latest software updates.
