Wrong time or timezone

Usually, the Sleep finds the right time zone based on your phone's time zone when the sensor is installed. If your sleep time is off by one or more hours, this can typically be resolved by unlinking the Sleep from your account, resetting it, and reinstalling one more time.

If this doesn't work, you can contact our support team who can manually correct it for you.

I'd say that my sleep times in web app are shifted by 1 hour but android app displays them properly.

I had the same problem with my ‘sleep’ with reading being +2 GMT. I found the issue to be the time zone was set to Russia. On iPhone it is set on “settings -> general -> Date & Time”. I has “set automatically” set. However when I switched to manual I found the timezone was set to Kiev in Russia. I tapped “Time Zone” and set it to “London” and then switched to automatic again. I think the time zone didn’t get updated somehow. The sleep should then re-sync next time, or you could disconnect/reconnect it from USB power to force a sync. Hope that helps.

Data that app collects got totally mixed up if you travel and change time zones. So when I change timezone all my historical data adapts to domestic timezone what means that according to app I was asleep middle of the day. Historic data should be static. Is there any way to correct that?

I have the same issue with two sensors.  We were both traveling and since then the time is off in both by one hour.

We checked the timezone in the iPhones were right both in Auto and Manual mode, and factory reset the sleep sensors. It did not work and one of the sensors somehow  is now two hours off.

We have 2 x sleep and 2 days ago the sleeping times on both shifted by -17hrs (Chicago time)... weird! Will go down the reset path & see where that leads to.

Updating my attempt to resolve 2 x sleeps suddenly time zone shifting...

after factory reset on both, nothing changed - still wrong by -17hrs. Interestingly in the Health app data record the Sleep device record shows Central Standard Time UTC-6 and it should be UTC+12 for my local zone. Seems like a backend issue :-(

Just bought, using for 3 nights, same issue, the time is shifted by few hours. Time zone is good in iPhone. Seems like there is no fix proposed to this, basically a faulty product launch in that case. Any bug fixes in the pipeline ? This needs to be prioritised.

Ha Withings guys, suggest you get you devs to sort you location awareness. This recurring issue renders you’re nice app unappealing and drives the user to just use Apple Health App as it already knows that my wife and i live and sleep happily together in New Zealand and she does not sleep in Chicago each night...... really dumb!!

    please, please fix this!!

The same Problem here in Germany.
Sleep Mate and BPM Connect are in Timezone East Australia.
    It is a Backend Problem.
My IP Adress is located in Australia in Health Mate App.
    Support is not helpful.
    Reset, Reset, Reset....

Same thing here. (Sleep) - shows times 2h behind due to Pacific Time. Yes, OUR IP ADDRESS is in Mountain View, California since we have Google Fiber -- but we are thoroughly in the midwest (Kansas City, Missouri). Why on earth can't this be reset from within app preferences? Or just use the phone's local time when syncing? Apple Health is smart enough to gather the data from Pacific Time and convert it properly. But I wish the Withings Health Mate app could do the same.

California time recorded for central time zone BPM. Reset will not help. This is a major problem for travelers.

    I'm having the same problem!!!

I've factory reset it, resynced several times and checked all my settings.

It simple will not go to GMT - London time.

The support email facility doesn't work either.

    Very frustrating.

    Major issue!

After years the problem persists - where is the support... it should not be a dream!! Wake up WiThings :-O. Because the time is 17hrs behind, it thinks I take an 8hr nap every day & now sleep - with all the science in this product you’d think simple time zones would be easy.

Same issue here, right time in the phone, wrong time in web app.

2 years and no solution? Are you joking?
