Pinned: Linking Health Mate with FitBit

Today I could link again! And it synced all my old measurements to Fitbit 😁 🕺🎉🥂

Im getting this error since last weekend. Is there an issue again?

Got syncing issues again. (Last sync Monday Apr 15th)

Tried to unlink and relink accounts. Got the following error

This issue is now back, I am unable to sync my fitbit with the Withings scale.

Fitbit seem to be aware according to https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Third-Party-Integrations/Withings-not-syncing-with-Fitbit/td-p/3415007

STILL not working. Phew!

Not working since April 15. Almost afraid to disconnect and reconnect.

This is really upsetting, and I'd like to hear an explanation from someone at Withings (and hopefully an ETA for repair). Bottom line is I bought an expensive scale based on their advertisement that it would sync into the Fitbit environment. Since then it has not synced for more time than it did. I could have, and probably should have bought a Fitbit Aria scale.

Not working here either. Trying to link to the two again using https://www.fitbit.com/weight/withings returns:

• Unable to authenticate Withings user. Withings server returned the following error: Exception receiving access token

Maybe Fitbit are having a hissy fit because Withings are doing better than them ATM?

This is now fixed I went in to Fitbit and my previous sync had been deleted I re-added and all working again

Its actually really easy to resolve if you downloa the ifttt application you can create your own routine to send data. 

Using ifttt, ive actually set up a routine to get Alexa to play the hallelujah chorus if i ever hit my target weight!

Cleared my cache and it still says it's dead. 

Withings and Fitbit stopped synching for me on 9/17

The syncing service https://www.fitbit.com/weight/withings# is currently not available and syncing is no longer working for everyone.

Please fix this as a matter of urgency. My purchase of these scales was contingent on their compatibility with Fitbit. If that no longer works or continues to exhibit unreliability - as it clearly has so far, judging by the many forum updates in the past, I will be demanding a refund for a defective product.

Update: I spoke to Fitbit support and got the following response;

Me: Is Fitbit responsible for the Withings syncing service: https://www.fitbit.com/weight/withings# ? As it seems to be your domain. This service has been down for the last four days. There is a lot of chatter on the forums about it. Can you please advise.

While Withings can certainly help solve this issue I believe this is a FitBit issue. Namely, at the beginning of September Fitbit came out with a new Scale. I love my Withings scale and the Health Mate App and the Apple Health App will sync and provide weight, BF, and BMI graphs. I think this is entirely on Fitbit. I’m hoping it gets fixed but Apple just came out with a new Watch so for me it is bye for Fitbit.

Same here. Withings customer support keeps emailing me this broken link:

It's still broken. Going on 5 days now. Used multiple browsers. Cleared cache. Nothing seems to do the trick. 

My Withings scale stopped syncing on the 19th... been trying to re-link via https://www.fitbit.com/weight/withings but it's down... Glad to see it's not just me. Sad that the sync isn't working...
