    Dear Community, 

     

    Sorry that your Thermo doesn’t switch on anymore.

     

    Here are some troubleshooting steps you can follow: 

    1) Press and hold the button on Thermo for 10 seconds.

    2) If Thermo does not power on, remove the batteries for 60 seconds and clean the battery contacts with a cotton swab, moistened with rubbing alcohol. Do not use any solvent.

    3) Then, insert new, non-rechargeable batteries (we advise Duracell or Energizer). Make sure that they are in the correct polarity. You can follow the instructions from this article.

     

    If Thermo now powers on, you can now configure it. If it doesn’t, you can check @Zane’s comment under the publication.

     

    @reuel.teodoro: You can try doing a factory reset. For that, please:

    1) Open the Thermo app and select the “gear” icon on the top left-hand side of the app to access the Settings menu. 

    2) Select Thermo.

    3) Click on “Remove” and confirm the removal of Thermo.

    4) Go to the Bluetooth settings of your phone and locate Thermo in the list of devices.

    5) Select the icon to the right of the Thermo on and select the option to “Forget” or “Remove” the device.

    6) Press and hold the button on Thermo until the word “SETUP” appears on its display. This might take up to 10 seconds.

    7) Quickly press the button 6 times until the words “FACTORY RESET” begin to scroll on the display.

    8) Quickly press the button 5 times. The display will power off. Thermo is now ready to be set up.

    It can be possible that the Thermo is not working because of low batteries. You can replace it with new batteries and see if the issue is still the same. You can contact the support at https://support.withings.com/hc/en-us/requests/new if the issue persists.

    My Thermo also stopped working after about two years. Battery replacement does not resolve the issue.

    My Thermo stopped working after two years. Says go to this website. I changed the batteries with no luck. Still says come to this site. Why? There are no answers.

    This indicates that you need to reinstall your Thermo. Before reconfiguring it, you have to dissociate it first from your account by following the steps on this link https://support.withings.com/hc/en-us/articles/222417147-Dissociating-my-Thermo then forget it from the Bluetooth settings of your phone. You can then install it by following the steps outlined in this article https://support.withings.com/hc/en-us/articles/222420347.

    That worked perfectly. Thank you for your help. I did not have to delete the app but I did have to “pretend” like I had a new thermometer and instruct the new thermometer how to interact with my wifi.

    I had the same issue where the Thermo no longer worked after a battery replacement.

    But for some reason removing it from the Thermo app, dissociating it from my iPhone's bluetooth settings and adding it again.. it worked. Bit strange, but happy to have a working thermometer again.

    After 3years my Thermo is no longer working. I changed batteries, disassociate from Bluetooth, reinstalled the app, everything.

    What's happening is that is it turns on but it doesn't find my temperature at all. I scan it across my forehead or anyone else's and it just does find the temperature at all. 

    This is so annoying.

    I have the same issue right now.

    After battery replacement it went down.
    After the reset procedure, Factory Reset and all tha hassle it still doesn’t work. It does power on, goes through setup, pairs with the app…
    All seems to be fine. But it fails to do the measurement…

    Please advise, where in Europe can I send the device to get it serviced?
