    Any response from withings?

I use https://github.com/magnific0/nokia-weight-sync but it seems that changes to withings policy prevent this tool from working in the future. Right now I'm still able to sync but I'm not able to add a new account.

I agree that Health Mate should sync directly to Garmin Connect. There is little reason that the most complete activity tracker should not directly have the benefit of the data that Withing collects.

Another request for this. It is really frustrating not being able to sync with Garmin connect.

I hope you can find a way to sync both ways with Garmin connect.

1+ A lot of people use workarounds, both services have API´s, so why not?

Garmin is currently the number one sports watch among athletes so it would only be logical that Withings and Garmin would link up their data.  When can we get this to happen?

    Before rumours rise:

There is an App (WeightLogger) that can handle all body composition data and export it via .fit file (manual upload in GC) or upload directly into GC by providing username and password. (.csv currently doesn't work)

    So it works!

Just in case any Garmin or Withings people answer that it's not possible so they won't implement it ;-)

For me a build-in mechanism would be nice to. So I do not have to put everithing manually into that tool and then upload.

And I do not have to write any code :-)

This is a frequently requested integration but I feel like they will ignore it forever because they want you to buy their inferior watch. I have the sleep mat, thermometer, blood pressure cuff and body cardio. I love it from a HEALTH tracking perspective. I'd rather track my activity elsewhere with a platform I've used for 8+ years. You can't deny Garmin provides a superior device for the athlete. I personally use the Forerunner 945. None of Withings offerings even come close so there is no option for me to even consider.

Today I got an email about "12 months of health innovations". BPM Core ECG that was never released in the US. They stripped away the only compelling reason to buy the body cardio scale by removing the "pulse wave velocity" feature. Oh, but lets get all excited about a new ECG ScanWatch that is likely not to be released in the US for the same reasons the BPM Core and Body Cardio (pwv) are not released.

Their proudest moments this year according to their email is Strava integration, a trial of some third party meditation app and a useless (to myself and my doctor) health report that doesn't include my activity tracker information because they don't allow integration with third party trackers.

I have the Fenix 5X and the Body Cardio, so the flagships of both worlds. There should be a way to sync them.

In Germany the "pulse wave velocity" is active again, but the other reason for me was the Li-Ion Battery. No serious alternative has a rechargable battery and I don't want to waste normal ones every 6 months into the environment and buy new ones.

I also don't want to use Strava or MyFitnessPal or sth like that. Just sync in time without 3rd parties.

So Garmin isn't better. You can only import body comp. from their scale or "Tabata"?. You can't even input the values yourself manually by typing them into the app.

So all my hope goes to Withings if they want to hold their customers or loose them like Garmin. There is no sense in having the best professional hardware without the ability to use them professionally. Maybe I have to deal with FitBit and Suunto or sth like that...

Garmin is better, in my opinion, from a sports watch and activity tracker perspective. I like withings for health trackers.

You can get your body cardio (all metrics) into garmin. You just have to run your own interface. I use this on a VM I built. However, I saw recently there is now a docker option. https://github.com/jaroslawhartman/withings-garmin-v2

Is this planned? Garmin is one of the most pervasive wearable fitness trackers on the planet and shocking I cannot get my weights from my scale syched up with all the other health data I manage on Garmin Connect. Really frustrating. Is healthmate trying to compete with Garmin?  Seems like a losing proposition.

Has anyone heard of any updates?  I fear I am now going to have to sell my Withing scale and go all in Garmin. Seems strange they wont open this up when they dont compete.

You buying a Garmin scale is exactly why garmin wil not allow to sync.   I don't know baout withings, but garmin is very closed on sharing and syncing data.  You they have a api, but with a lot of terms you have to meet.

I to have everything on Garmin (sportwise).  I sync my with with fitnesspal and that one sync's with garmin.  Oke, not the body compositon, but don't mis it.

Syncíng between withings and garmin?  When hell freezes over or Withings get bought by gamin.  Not any sooner.

    +1 request for this...

But, sadly, I do understand how futile this is as @heronimos is exactly right (the merger with Garmin). I'm not sure about the hell freezing over part, as I don't think anyone is going to still care about syncing their data in this scenario and so might fall lower on the priority list :).

Mr. Éric Carreel: I know there are likely some bad memories from the transactionS with Nokia, but I'm sure Garmin would make for a better partner!

Anyway, probably means just forking up the cash for a Garmin scale.

Be careful about the Garmin scale, make sure to read the reviews. I ended up getting this one because of the far smaller percentage of negative reviews. The particulars for the Garmin negative reviews were kind of alarming, like firmware issues suddenly happening (or maybe sudden incompatibility) that seemed to have remained unresolved for months or longer. Withings does seem to make a great scale and BP monitor. I actually like their app, which in some ways is better. Garmin, however, is far superior as a running watch. It's not even close. I'm also using the MyFitnessPal connection between the two (thanks to earlier posts!)

The Garmin scale might be fine, just read the reviews carefully first to make sure you're OK with what you see.

    I'm on this bandwagon.

Withings should really be a "health" centric solution as I think they'll struggle to compete in anything other than the casual fitness market. So for those of us using Garmin for our fitness data and Withings for our health metrics it would be great to have them on one pane of glass.

+1 on the request to allow data syncing

I own three Withings scales and one Withings Steel HR. It didn't keep me from buying a Garmin. Why insist on trying to do everything? I'm a fan of many of your products, Withings, but be a mensch. Let me sync my data!

Bumping this after 6 months. What a joke. I spent over a $100 on this scale that it is useless to me. The whole point was to get a scale that had good integration with my other devices. I should have read the reviews before buying.

    I will not recommend this.

And seems they have a forum that they don't read. So really a terrible product and platform.

I want Withings to sync weight to Garmin Connect

Mine seems to be working, but it's not a direct connection.  I simply sync to My Fitness Pal which is synced to my Withings account.   It's not perfect and I only get one weight (usually the most recent), but it seems to work even in the background.  It didn't work at first, but then a few days later I noticed that the weights started showing up.

There is no option to get the body fat percent and other information, but it's better than nothing.

I made an app called Smart Scale Sync (link) for connecting our Withings scales to Garmin. It sends all body composition metrics, not just weight. It's not free but I'd love to get your feedback if you try it!

Patrick based on your app I have decided that I will take the leap and get one of these scales. I hope for the cost all the metrics will be transferred. But it seems all of the "Smart" scales seem to have a flaw somehow, this still seems like the best bet. Its just a shame they cannot all just play nicely together. After all it is a service they are supplying and although they have invested in their own software, they do not have the same experience as some of the other more dedicated sports trackers. I use garmin for 99% of my stuff its a shame their scales don't work over 5GHz wifi as everything else in my house does, so I guess that is where the poor wifi connection reviews come in.

I've had both devices (garmin watch and nokia scale) and syncing used to work and still does sporadically.  I have no idea why it stops and/or picks which days to sync the data.  I think I used myfitnesspal as the go between no I can't recall.  would love either a direct sync or, at least, a more reliable sync
