    Hello @evps,

Thank you for your interest in ScanWatch. I would be happy to reply to your questions. As indicated here when you click on “In the box”, ScanWatch comes with a black and silver fluoroelastomer wristband. There is currently no offer for a free extra wristband but we will let our customers know if we decide to provide one. The sizes 38 mm and 42 mm refer to the diameter of the watches’ dials: 38 millimeters (1.5 inches) and 42 millimeters (1.65 inches). If you’re a 6-foot man, you can wear both ScanWatches, depending on your taste. We usually advise ScanWatch 38 mm for women and ScanWatch 42 mm for men but if you like watches with small dials, ScanWatch 38 mm will of course fit your wrist.

@rachel.ayers: Please know that I replied to your question regarding the metal and leather wristbands here. Don’t hesitate to check my answer.

Feel free to let me know if you have any other questions regarding ScanWatch!

    Have a nice weekend,

I've been trying to find out info on the bands as well with no luck.  Pretty sure the white watch comes with a black band (bleh) and the free band would be the metal one, but, for some reason they are saying that the metal and leather bands can't be worn while working out.  I can't get an answer as to why.  There are also supposedly nicer colors coming out in 2022, but again, I can't get information on that either.

I do know that the 38/42 are the size of the face of the watch though.  The size you should get would depend more on wrist circumference than height.  I have a Garmin Vivoactive 40mm and it is "huge" on me.  My husband did try it on once and it seemed more normal sized on him, but he would probably say it was too small.  All of the Garmin watches also come in 2 sizes.  Was hoping this watch would be more accurate and more stylish but without any answers I'll just stick with what I have for the time being.

    Hey,
all the info you're looking for are in the product page :
The scanwatch comes with a band, as mentioned on the shop page, you can order an "extra" band and, also as stated in the "in the box" picture, the band is "silicon type" and black, more info on the band material in the specification too.
There is just so many things that are designed in US, and never comes to europe either, why would withings need to give you anything more ? just be happy to be able to buy the watch.
Also as stated, the 38/42mm refers to the case diameter, you can see it in the "dimension" specification of the watch, and also because its the universal watch standard to mention the case diameter.
Now, as for the 38mm watch, its more designed for slim wirst, its not really dependent on your heigth, but on your wirst diameter, here is a good general guide  https://grayton-watches.com/blogs/urban-diaries/how-to-pick-the-perfect-watch-for-your-hand-size
