Why doesnt it include an option to turn of the false autodetect of cycling which has been annoying a large proportion of your users for the last 18 months!

This is great. Do you know when the firmware will be available? I checked for updates in the app, but it still shows 2291 on my end.

Hi there. Appreciate if you could make a small enhancement that would be very useful for users. When timer finishes and you press the button it takes you back to the start. You then have to go back to clock and start again. Would be useful if it stays there so you can rerun the timer for gym workouts.

    Hello,

    Thank you for responding.

@dave.fordham and @k.milburn1962: The automatic detection of cycling is a task dedicated to a team that is working exclusively on the Health Mate app. Please know that all the feedback of this matter has already been shared multiple times to them. I will still happily forward your comments to our developers as I understand that finding a fix for it is important for a lot of our users.

@adrianxg: The firmware will be available to everyone in the following weeks. Thank you for your question, I added this information in our post.

@zafislam9 : As you can see above, we want to be transparent with our customers and are sharing an honest answer with you :)

@hmseligmann : Thank you for your idea of staying on the timer screen once the time has passed. It has been shared to our developers so they might consider it for a further update.

@Andrew: Thank you for your kind comment! 🤗

    Happy Wednesday,

Nice improvements! Do you have HR zone alarms for workouts on your backlog?

I wish I could turn off Bluetooth when I am away from my phone for a long time to get a tiny increase in battery life.

Also, for the future ScanWatch II, NFC support for payments would be nice. The, you would have a nearly perfect device in my world! (Currently wear a Garmin vivomove Style because of this, but the battery life is dismal.)

    Hi there Armelle
One more enhancement suggestion. Would be awesome if had an option to keep screen on permanently to show time and date with E.g. low brightness apart from when you raise your wrist and it goes to full brightness. Know that it would affect battery life but there is plenty to spare and I'm sure a lot of people would be happy to sacrifice battery life for always on display.

I have this new version according to the app but none of these features work. I press the crown and nothing. I also could not find a setting for the activity reminder. I am on 5.9.1 on the Android app

    Hi istvan
These features require a software update on HM 5.9. If you go to there firmware page 2421 only says 5.9. .looking at that I understand there needs to be software update once that is in place then we will see the new features. For these features to work then we require the firmware 2421 for scanwatch. So the new layouts  are present .2421 has been deployed already, let's see what happens.⭐

It's only been 6 days since the release off 2421 firmware, And some have received it in Germany all ready. It's going to take a little longer at least another week or so some users are reporting seeing the new 10 to 10 function in the 38 mm scanwatch. Which is already in the black 42mm,but not in the HM APP at the moment am waiting to see this in the app also like everyone else.Hoping to see the App update very quickly.🤔

These firmware are done in batches I think, could be wrong I guess.

I can see that the update is ready on my phone, but every time I try to apply it, it detects my watch, runs for around 2% progress then gives me an error and asks me to try again. I've tried this process 4 times, with the watch right near the phone and the app open. I also cleared the app cache and the cache on the watch, but still no luck. I'm on an up to date Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra.

Does the watch have to have a certain level of battery first before doing the update? I'm at 31% battery life.

Try charging the watch  full then doing the update may help.

Yes, I will have to try that. I had ran it just now and it went up to around 20% then gave the error again. I will charge it and see.

It finally updated last night. I see the Activity Reminder option, but not the 10 to 10 setting. I have the ScanWatch 42 mm white dial version with the skinny hands. Not sure if it isn't available because of that?

Can this new reminder to tighten wristband be turned off? I prefer my watch as ... passive as possible.

Hi it's a new update on the watch. And for an off option it would require another update.May be Armelle can better answer this question 🤔
I don't use it for activities or sports so doesn't affect me.
