My notifications work, but I have also lost ability to receive call notifications which is a deal breaker for me. I can't confirm the battery issue is fixed. Day 2 of 3

I've given up on the ScanWatch and bought myself a Gamin watch for Xmas. Everything just works. Battery consumption of the app is a reasonable 7%. All notifications working beautifully, and actually readable. Happy Xmas and good luck to the rest of you.

Same issue here with Steel HR, with the last update 6.2.1, phone call notifications disappeared from the config and are not working anymore.

Can confirn, that the battery issue is gone for me with 6.2.1. Scanwatch 2 and Pixel 8 Pro with latest Android 14 beta.

Possibility to enable call notification in configuration is gone. Fon app is not listed in the list of apps for notifications.

So they removed it on purpose without even making it public in the release notes.

    I'm screaming at my wall!!!!

I posted a fair review of the current state of the app in the Google Play Store (german, see below) and Google tells me I'm not kind enough. All I wrote was "get your shit together".

Chated with the support a few minutes ago. They told me it was removed (without telling me the cause) and that notifications für fon will be available back again soon. I'm so tired....

Quite obvious what Withings are doing here - rather than fix the issue, they have removed the functionality just before Christmas so they don't get inundated with support calls from people who received a Withings watch for Christmas. Those poor people, they have no idea what a sh*t company they will have to deal with

What I find is a shame is that I've had Withings products since their beginning, I've had various Pulse, several watches, scales - I've always found them a good product and the app a nice once until the past year. This battery drain issue handled very badly, and the new app is nowhere near as well designed as previous versions - they just seem to have lost their way at the moment generally.

I think it's time they had some kind of in person or online feedback workshops with their users to understand what we like about the app and the gadgets, what we don't like, what can be improved etc. Personally I'd be happy to be involved in such workshops.

@pam.reay...I agree that a customer feedback workshop would be a great idea and I would also be willing to participate. I've had several watches, 2 scale versions, 3 bp monitors, and the thermometer...and have given a Scan Watch to one daughter who's having heart issues and the latest BP cuff for my 93 yr old MIL. I've been a strong supporter of Withings. I've also worked in software development for over 30 years, so realize that Withings isn't choosing to not fix the battery drain issues...they're struggling (whether it's just a tough bug to get around or they lack the skilled staff to do so). Communication, however, could be WAY better.

BTW, I upgraded to the 6.2.1 and no longer have the battery issue and I can still see and select the call/phone option for notifications setting in the app. I haven't, however, had a call since I upgraded, so not sure if the notification will come thru. We'll see today!

So, I shouldn't bother put on my Scanwatch yet. The app is in deep sleep since the end of November, and I use a Galaxy Watch ever since.

Without phone call notification it is completely useless. I have been keeping my phones muted for more than 5 years, I rely on smartwatches for notifications.

After the last update two days before, the battery drain is gone but the call notification also :-(

The information politics from withings is a mess. The support told me that they will inform me if an update is available, nothing happened until now. This was the last product i bought from withings because of that terrible customer care! Also here into their own forum is no info update at all, shame on that people behind the scene, which are responsible for this shit.
