Our support agents may ask you for the serial number (also referred to as the MAC ID) of your Withings product. This 12-character number allows them to retrieve diagnostics and usage data for your product.
The serial number of your device starts with '0024' or 'a4:7e' and contains numbers and letters throughout. Depending on where you find the serial number, it can look like '0024E4XXXXXX / a47eXXXXXXXX' or '00:24:E4:XX:XX:XX / a4:7e:XX:XX:XX:XX.'
Finding the serial number if your device is installed
If your device is already installed, follow these steps:
- Open the Withings App.
- Tap the Devices section in the upper-right corner.
- Select your product.
- You can find the serial number under 'Advanced Settings.'
- Tap on your Mac ID number to copy it into your phone's clipboard.

Note for BeamO, ScanWatch, Steel HR and Pulse HR users: You can obtain the serial number of your device from within the device's menus by cycling through the available menus until you come to the serial number. The serial number looks like 'XX:XX:XX' and does not include the prefix '00:24:E4.'
