Note for Lingo users: Since the Lingo sensor is not a medical device intended for users with diabetes, Diabetic Mode will be disabled in the glucose data view to ensure safe use of the product and accurate data.
Users with diabetes are recommended to enable Diabetic Mode, which will alter the range of healthy glucose levels and the calculation of your Time in Range (TIR). This in turn will provide more accurate data. By default, all users have Diabetic Mode off.
Here is how your data on the glucose graph is displayed and calculated with Diabetic Mode toggled on or off:
Healthy glucose level
- Diabetic Mode enabled: 70-160 mg/dL
- Diabetic Mode disabled (default): 70–140 mg/dL
Time in Range (TIR)
- Diabetic Mode enabled: ≥ 70%
- Diabetic Mode disabled (default): ≥ 96%
You can enable Diabetic Mode by scrolling to the bottom of the glucose graph screen and toggle on Diabetic Mode under 'Options':
