If you find that your U-Scan is unresponsive, won't charge, or the status light (LED) won't light up, it may be due to excess moisture/humidity within the device.
Excess humidity can lead to device malfunction and measurement failure and could ultimately make the device unusable.
If your U-Scan is unresponsive and/or does not charge, please follow these steps:
- Follow all of the tips and troubleshooting steps in our Humidity issues article immediately to avoid any further device damage.
- In the event that the issue is not humidity-related, perform a soft reset of the device by pressing and holding down the internal button for 30 seconds.
- If the device restarts (sound can be heard inside) and displays a blinking blue light, this means the device needs to be installed. Please uninstall the device (disassociate the device from the app and unpair it from your mobile device’s Bluetooth settings) and then reinstall it.
- If the device does not restart or is still unresponsive, please reach out to our Support team for more help.
