Your BodyScan 2 offers two measurement modes designed to balance in-depth health insights with a quick daily experience:
- Daily Scan: a shorter and more focused measurement tailored to the metrics you care most about, made for everyday use.
- Longevity Scan: a complete, in-depth body assessment performed once a week to ensure you benefit from the BodyScan 2's in-depth analysis technology.
BodyScan 2 provides these two modes because a more in-depth and complete measurement, including some of the most valuable health metrics and other deep cardiovascular signals, requires more time from you. Performing a full scan in this manner every day would be unnecessary and make daily weigh-ins feel long.
Daily Scan
Daily Scan is a 30-second, customizable measurement focused on the metrics that you have chosen.
The Daily Scan will measure the following metrics by default :
- Weight
- Segmental body composition (fat, muscle)
- Heart rate
- Pulse Wave Velocity (PWV)
You can customize which measurements you receive by enabling their screens. Learn how to do this here.
Longevity Scan
The Longevity Scan is automatically triggered every 7 days. If the weekly Longevity Scan has not been completed, the scale will continue proposing it on each new measurement. Once completed, the scale switches back to Daily Scan for the rest of the week.
A full Longevity Scan typically takes around 2 minutes, during which you must stand still on the scale and hold the handle with both hands.
The Longevity Scan performs a complete health assessment, including:
- Weight
-
Metabolism analysis
- Segmental body composition (fat, muscle)
-
Cardiovascular analysis
- 6-lead ECG with AFib detection (if ECG is available in your country.)
Note: The ECG tutorial only needs to be completed once per user. After that, ECG will be included in every Longevity Scan. - Heart rate
- SpO2
- Pulse Wave Velocity (PWV)
- Vascular Age
- 6-lead ECG with AFib detection (if ECG is available in your country.)
- Nerve Response Score (measured via the feet electrodes)
If you are in a hurry, you can skip the Longevity Scan directly from the scale using the button under your right thumb. It will then be postponed until your next measurement, and a shorter Daily Scan will run instead.
