I've been talking with Withings customer service, and I think the issue is fixed. Upgrade the app to the latest version - 6.1.0. My watch was draining completely within 72 hours, but it's been 48 hours since I fully charged it (with updated app) and it's still on 100%!

I'll try but for me it started with the firmware update, long before 6.0.0.
If 6.1.0 fixed battery draining on latest firmware, then good... but still weird.
I updated the app, I'm charging my watch and will monitor the outcome.

I updated to 6.1.0 (on Android 14) as part of my reset app and watch and it hasn't improved so far. Currently with the default settings (which is for low energy consumption), I've had the following so it's not looking promising:
Day | AM | PM |
1 | 100% | 100% |
2 | 97% | 79% |
3 | 74% | | (down to 66% by mid-day)

I'm on the latest TestFlight build and still seeing >10% drain per day. This is unacceptable. Support have been useless and passed me the generic "make sure your high battery settings are turned off"

My watch also seems to have been fixed by the new app version. At least it doesn’t run out of juice in 2 days… iOS.

I am experiencing the same problem. The battery went from 3+ weeks to barely one week. It has to do with the firmware update.

Yup, same problem since app update. Battery draining and withings app to blame. Please update!

iOS 17 with Scanwatch. Seeing some improvements after latest app update, but still half the battery life as before.
Day 1: 100%
Day 3: 77%
Day 11: 19%
I’ll probably get to 14 days. Better than the 2 days before.
No different use than before the new app version.

The Withings app is draining my battery. I have a Pixel 6. This has been doing this for the last 2 months. I use the Scan watch and the Body+ scales.

I experienced battery drain both in the phone and the watch. Downgraded the app version to 6.0.0 and the phone (OnePlus Android 13) is OK now but the watch still consumes more battery than it used to. Perhaps I should go back even furter in the app versions?

i have the same issues as already described above
i used to spend 8 days without charging (with Android phone), now it's about 2 to 3 days max, using an iphone.
last night the battery lost 33% of its capacity.. in just 7 hours..
also my settings are carefully selected (attachment below)
if Withings won't find a solution, it's gonna be the last time for me, using their products.

i bought a watch with great records and reputation, and it seems that 20-30 days of battery is not even a dream, if you don' have every setting set to off..
I hope, Withing's company would find a solution, because with those numbers (3 days) im not gonna use it for long..
Give us the opportunity to return into the previous versions of UI.
I don't want to buy a new watch every year with discount.. if that's the policy, let us know

After doing a factory reset of my watch, re-installing the latest app on Android 14 I've recorded the battery life at the end of each day:
During the first few days the discharge during the day is huge and then it seems to slow down a bit below 50% (note I've used no high power features and only added a single 20 min workout in that time).

Here is the raw data if anyone is interested:
| Day | Start of Day | End of Day |
| 1 | 100 | 100 |
| 2 | 97 | 79 |
| 3 | 74 | 54 |
| 4 | 51 | 45 |
| 5 | 43 | 35 |
| 6 | 35 | 29 |
| 7 | 29 | 23 |
| 8 | 24 | 17 |
| 9 | 19 | 13 |
| 10 | 15 | 9 |
| 11 | 11 | 4 |

I'm currently on the latest TestFlight build 6.1.1 and have noticed my battery is now back to normal (<7%/day, or roughly two weeks for me). No changes to settings

Hi.
This is what they wrote me a week ago. I do find it positive, so I’m hoping it will happen. I live in a part of Europe where you can’t rely on what the officials tell you, but Whitings is a serious company and I believe they are trying best:
“Hello,
Thank you for getting back.
I appreciate the photos that you shared and for providing the needed details.
Please know that our development team is working on a software update to improve the battery performance of the watch.
Have a good day
Best regards,
Aubrey

Thanks @Armelle, while that might be true (Android 14 causing an issue) this issue cropped up long before Android 14 was released.

i have to mention that i'm using IOS, and my Withing's battery last for 3 to 4 days max.

My Scan watch Horizon is lasting 5-6 days. Support has analysed my watch through a link. They say that I’m using the Respiratory Scan and I have to turn it off……I’m not using that. I’m so tired of the ignorance from the support. If they don’t going to fix this soon I’m going to demand a refund for my watch, it’s only 6 months old.
😡😡😡😡

Exactly the same issue and battery lifecycle is getting worse weekly. No AFib monitoring, Respiratory Scan enabled.
Watch purchased about 6 months ago.
Did try via support but not very much help provided.
"Please know that our development team is working on a software update to improve the battery performance of the watch. Rest assured that I will get back to you once there is an update on this matter.
Thank you for your unwavering patience and kind understanding. "

Same issue, I have been going through customer services for 4 months with no resolution. My warranty runs out in 25 days so I feel like it is a massive delay tactic by Withings. I now want to take legal action for selling items that do not function as advertised, and will report to trading standards. The treatment from Withings is shocking. They have no intention of replacing for refunding these watches. Me might need to start joint action.

there is no 20 days of battery..
for me, 3 days and a half, is the most i can achieve..
next step is buying a Swatch !

Withings... Can we have a update please? I don't understand why this issue is taking so long to fix.
If this is a software issue then just rollback the firmware/app updates to fix it. It shouldn't take this long to fix an issue...

Both my phone and watch batteries drained. I rolled back to version 6.0.0 on the phone app and now the phone is "normal" again. The watch battery still doesn't last more than a few days. Has anyone tried an even older phone app? (some 5.x.x-version) Just in case the phone app causes the watch to drain. However, it doesn't affect my old steel HR, just the Scanwatch. But, who knows?

This essentially destroyed my scanwatch 1, just got a scanwatch 2 to replace it, full clean, uninstall, of the app, and the issue still persists. It seems to be related to the notifications since if it does not try send any notifications the draw is a bit better, but I cannot pin point the exact issue. Both the phone and the watch have unusually high drain. Times like these I miss my pebble...

Come on Withings. My watch now drains the battery in 5 days. Something is going on, and the only change is software. Your software …

Three months ago, I reached out to Withings chat support regarding this significant issue with my Withings Scanwatch's battery life following a firmware upgrade. Despite assurances that this was a high-priority issue, I've seen no resolution or update in the five months since the problem began. My attempts to contact support again have been unsuccessful, which is disheartening.
This issue has me questioning the reliability of future purchases, specifically the next-gen Withings Scanwatch. The lack of support for a premium-priced product is a major concern. I'd like to understand what measures are in place to prevent similar issues in the future.
Battery life, once a key selling point of your product, has drastically decreased. Had I known this would be the case, with only a week's battery life under minimal use, I might have considered alternatives like Garmin, which offers GPS, Garmin Pay, and other features with a longer battery life.
It would be beneficial for many of us if support could provide an update or at least an estimated time for a firmware fix or a way to roll back to a previous firmware version that didn't have this issue.

Same problem, battery draining within 4 days and recharging ment resetting hands.
After giving up on getting a solution from Withings who were aware of the issue and it was with the development team I bought a Scanwatch 2 because they claim the battery lasts 30 days. Have had the Scanwatch 2 about 10 days and from the last full charge I am down to 17% after 5 days.
Premium product, premium price not not premium customer support.

Is Withings doing anything about this issue? I have a scanwatch and iPhone and the battery used to last close to a month. Now it last 1-2 days. I don’t care if it’s software if hardware, the watch is failing to meet its advertised performance by a massive margin. I want a warrant replacement.
Hard to do, of course, when there’s no sign of a contact email, phone number etc to talk to anyone. Seems like a scam.
