Thanks Markus for providing the update. This has been a very frustrating few days - maybe losing the sleep I was trying to monitor!

I am having the same issue. Reinstalled the app. Did not fix the issue. Hopefully it is fixed soon. Very frustrating.

I had to reinstall the last version of Withings. Then it works perfectly again.

I am having the same issue, my phone ran out of battery yesterday but when I charged it, it would no longer connect properly to the app, just as the other users on this post have described. Really hope it is fixed soon as I can’t use the watch at the moment :(

Have there been any updates on this? I've not been able to use my watch for a week because it can't tell the right time! Can we at least have a timeline for when this is expected to be fixed?

I’ve just tried to log the issue with their chat and it’s giving an auto response saying that they’re aware of the issue, they are working on a fix and it will be rolled out as an update to the Withings app so check the App Store for updates….

I've just seen they released another update a few hours ago for iOS. Seems to have corrected the issue!

There is already a new version showing in TestFlight (scroll back a few comments), so hopefully that will be published in the App Store soon. I guess they want to fully test it (this time!) before they release.
If you don't want to wait, loading it via TestFlight is an option.

Thanks Cara B! It indeed has been released. 7.2.1

There’s an update available. Fixed the issues I experienced! Thx Withings and this community ;)

Yes, I’ve got the update, thank goodness for that!

Folks, for anyone who was on the beta version on Testflight, now that the fix has been released to the regular appstore, if you want to go back to normal updates you’ll need to leave the beta testing.
To do that you need to:
1 Open Testflight and click on Withings
2 Scroll down to the bottom and click “Stop testing”
3 Go to the Apple appstore and download the latest version of the production app
4 I had to verify myself by putting in my Withings password on the app once it had downloaded but you might not!
Huge thank you to everyone in this forum for all your help and moral support over the last few days! It’s been a delight to share frustrations and fixes with you all!

Installed the new update but notifications still aren’t working properly - the app seems to forget what notifications you’ve chosen after a while

I have notifications turned off so haven't noticed an issue.

I only have phone notifications on and it’s working fine. I did do the additional factory reset on my watch as I’d set it up again with an Android earlier in this whole saga, so that might help now it doesn’t totally brick the watch!

Yep, removed watch from account and reset but notifications still aren’t working properly - it forgets some (perhaps most) of the ones I’ve selected. It does this from time to time but usually sorts itself out; it doesn’t seem to want to on this occasion

I’m glad I found this thread and the issue got resolved with the latest update. I contacted customer service and escalated to the specialty team. I have yet to hear from them asking me to upload the latest version of the software. They did tell me that it was not an issue with my watch but with the app.
Interesting also to see how hooked I am to my watch to wake me up and track my activities. 😄

I just started having this issue again. I was working after the fix in January, but now it won’t tell the correct time or sync, even though it’s fully charged

Same here. Looks like the same regression has been reintroduced in version 7.3.1.
Just tried to go the TestFlight route but can’t see a previous build option available.
Friday releases really aren’t working for Withings.

7.3.1 works for me, just checked

The issue seems to have resolved itself. Restarted the app and no joy, spent three minutes angrily tweeting Withings, unsuccessfully tried to delete the app, opened it by mistake and voila - full alarm access. Not sure which step worked but I appear to back in business. Let’s see if the alarm works in the morning

Hello everyone,
Thank you for contacting us. I'm sorry to hear that your Steel HR / Sport won't connect to the app. Please allow us to investigate and work on a resolution by contacting us at https://bit.ly/3Lg5tPL. It would be a great help if you could add more details of the situation and a screenshot showing the case if possible.
Have a nice day,
Lyn, Withings Customer Service

Hello,
I just accidentally updated and now my phone will not connect to my watch. My charger went bad, so my watch died. After purchasing a new charger and getting the watch back online my watches hands wouldn’t read correctly, although the app said my watch was paired to my phone. I opened the app to adjust the hands like I’ve done before and accidentally accepted the fatal update. The watch is now worthless. It will not connect to the app, if my Bluetooth is one the watch flashes and buzzes each second with a giant X and sometimes what looks like a battery icon. My phone and the app see the watch but the flashing X doesn’t go away. Help?

Brandon H - this happened to me after one of the most recent updates. I had to do a factory reset of the phone and turn the phone off and and on again to get it to recognise the watch. With the most recent update it seems to be OK
