• Health Mate - iOS App - I’m having an issue syncing Health Mate with Apple Health

  If you are currently experiencing issues with Apple Health, please check that your app is up to date, and try the troubleshooting in this article to make sure Apple Health and Health Mate are correctly linked.

• Health Mate - iOS App - Activity recognition

  Your tracker can learn your moves thanks to the latest update of the Health Mate app. You can now manually log over 30 different activities on top of the automatically detected running, walking, and swimming.
  
  

  Which devices can benefit from this feature?

  • Withings Activité / Pop
  • Steel
  • Steel HR / Steel HR Sport
  • Go
  • Pulse HR

  Note that the Withings Pulse does not support this feature.

  
  Which activities are recognized?
  
  For now, your tracker is able to detect and learn these new activities:

  • Walking
  • Running
  • Cycling (Steel HR / Steel HR Sport and Pulse HR only)
  • Tennis
  • Table Tennis
  • Squash
  • Badminton
  • Weights
  • Basketball
  • Soccer
  • Volleyball
  • Dance
  • Boxing

  Note that we are working on adding more activity recognition coming soon.

  
  What happens if I do an activity not yet supported by automatic recognition?
  
  No problem, you can still log over 30 additional activities manually. Note that each time you log your moves, you help the algorithm learn to recognize these activities, so that we can bring you more automatic activity recognition in the near future.
   

  Manually log your activity
  
  You simply need to log an activity to teach your tracker how you move. It will soon automatically recognize and log that activity for you.
  

  
  
  Follow the instructions below so that your tracker detects automatically your activity:

  • Perform any of the 10 newly supported activities while wearing your activity tracker. You will then see “New activity detected” on your Timeline.
  • Save the session, choose which activity it was, and adjust the intensity. It will now appear in your Timeline.
  • Repeat this process 2-3 times for each activity. This helps your tracker learn your specific moves, so it can automatically recognize them the next time around.
    
    

  Set a weekly goal

  • Each time you perform a new activity for the first time (whether it’s automatically detected or logged manually), you will see a congratulations screen in the Health Mate app.
  • From that screen, you can select ‘Set a goal,’ and set how many days per week you want to perform that activity, so you have some accountability.
  • Each time you reach any weekly activity goal, you will see a congratulatory animation in your Timeline.

• Health Mate - iOS App - iOS デバイスで歩数のトラッキング

  Apple Healthにより、Withingsのトラッカーをお持ちでなかったり、ご自宅にお忘れになったりした場合でも、iOS端末を使用して歩数を追跡できます。
  
  互換性
  アプリ内歩数追跡を使用するには、次の要件を満たすiOS端末が必要です:

  • iOS 8以降
  • iPhone 5以降 

  重要なお知らせ：Health HealthとのApple Healthの同期をすでに有効にしていて、アプリ内歩数追跡を開始されたい場合は、Apple Health > ソース > Health Mateに移動し、ページの一番下までスクロールしてください。ここで、「歩数」が有効になっていることをご確認いただけます（「Health Mateにデータの読み取りを許可する」カテゴリの下）。

  アクティビティの追跡を有効にするには、次のステップを行ってください：

  I've forgotten my Withings tracker. What should I do?

  If your Withings account is already linked to Apple Health, you don't have anything to do. Your data is automatically transferred to the Health Mate app.

  If your Withings account is not linked to Apple Health, you have to link your Withings account to Apple Health.

  アクティビティの追加

  アクティビティを Health Mate アプリに追加するには、 次のステップに従ってください：

  1. Health Mate アプリを開きます。
  2. 「 + 」をタップします。
  3. 「アクティビティ」をタップします。
     
  4. 追加したいアクティビティをタップします。
     画面を左右にスワイプすると、追加のアクティビティを表示できます。
     
  5. 期間、開始時間、距離（該当する場合）を入力し、 ご自分のトレーニングの強度にあわせて、「強度」スライダーを動かします。
     
     設定した強度とあなたの個人情報（性別、身長、体重）に基づいて、アルゴリズムが燃焼したカロリー値を自動で計算します。
  6. 「保存」をタップします。

  手動でのアクティビティの追加
  
  アクティビティを Health Mate アプリに追加するには、 次のステップに従ってください：

  1. Health Mate アプリを開きます。
  2. 「アクティビティ」をタップします。
     
  3. 「 Edit 」をタップします。
     
  4. 期間、開始時間、距離（該当する場合）を入力し、 ご自分のトレーニングの強度にあわせて、「強度」スライダーを動かします。
     

  At this stage, editing detected running activities won't affect your stride length for your next running sessions. Do note that it will be the case in an upcoming version, allowing you to get more accurate data.
